Water Sports & Diving in Aruba
One of the best things about our resort is the beach, located right across the street. Aruba is home to Druif Beach, Palm Beach and Eagle Beach, three of the most dazzling, white sand beaches in the Caribbean. Lay by the water on one of our complimentary beach chairs, seek some shade underneath a beach palapa, or go snorkeling to see what's beneath all that crystal blue water.
Explore the open water with non-motorized equipment rentals from our on-site water sports center operated by De Palm Tours. Here, you can rent catamarans, rafts, sunfish, and canoes or book snorkeling excursions, scuba diving trips, and windsurfing lessons.
For those feeling up to the challenge of windsurfing, Aruba’s constant 15-knot trade winds, numerous flat-water locations, and challenging wave conditions ensure the best experience for people of all skill levels. Our instructors teach novice windsurfers to take advantage of gentler winds while advanced students and experts can choose from many prime locations along the northern and southeastern coast of Aruba.
Scuba divers and snorkelers will delight in the many diving sites Aruba has to offer. Divers with Open Water Certification can go wall diving, reef diving, or explore wreckage from WWII. Snorkelers will be able to enjoy the beauty of coral formations closer to the surface, as well as wreck sites, thanks to visibility of up to 100’. An underwater oasis awaits you!
Aruba Golf Resort
If you prefer to stay dry, our resort has plenty to do on land as well. Play a round or two of golf at our very own golf course — The Links at Divi Aruba. This 9-hole golf course features numerous holes over water, ensuring a challenge for golfers of every skill level. Due to COVID-19, please read the new protocols for playing golf. In addition to golf, our active guests can play a few tennis games or attend weekly tennis clinics. We also host poolside games and beach walks every afternoon for the whole family to enjoy. Guests at Divi Village can also use the pools and amenities at Divi Dutch Village and Divi Aruba Phoenix!
One of the most exciting activities we offer can be found on our beach — our 30’ rock-climbing wall. Enjoy an exhilarating climb on Aruba’s only rock wall!
When you want to win big, visit Alhambra Casino, which is only a short distance from the resort. Alhambra Casino is open daily from 10 a.m.-4 a.m. and offers all the best casino gaming as well as a delicious dining and high-end shopping.
