Why should you choose Aruba for your next vacation? It’s easy and convenient to travel to Aruba as there are tons of direct flights from major U.S., Canadian, European, and Caribbean cities. Plus, Aruba has more sunny days than any other Caribbean island, and it's friendly and safe, so you can discover everything this “One Happy Island” has to offer.

It's All Included

Both Divi Village Golf and Divi Dutch Village offer all-inclusive packages. At this time, Divi Aruba Phoenix does not offer an all-inclusive plan.

Soak Up The Sun

Aruba, which is located outside of the hurricane belt, has more sunny days than any other Caribbean island and temperatures remain constant year-round, averaging about 80°F (27°C).

Dollars, Euros, or Florins?

The official currency of Aruba is the Aruban Florin, but US dollars are accepted everywhere and nearly all prices are listed in US dollars.

What to Wear

Aruba is laid-back and informal. Evening wear is typically casual. It is not permitted to remove any part of your swimwear on the beach or around resort pools.

Road Rules

On Aruba, vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road and international traffic signals are used. Foreign and international driver's licenses are valid.

Drinking Water Safety

There is no need to purchase bottled water in Aruba as the island’s tap water is pure and meets the highest standards set by the World Health Organization.

Plug In

Aruba’s electrical current is DC 120 volts, 60-cycle, so plugs from the United States fit all of our Aruba resort outlets and a converter/adapter is not needed.

Shop 'Til You Drop

Find out what you can and can't bring back from the islands: U.S. Citizens and Canadian Citizens. European and British Citizens: please visit your country’s official customs website.

At Your Service

By island custom, a 15% service charge is added to all food and beverage checks. Gratuities and added tips are typically between 10-15%.

Speak My Language

On Aruba, English is widely used and most inhabitants speak, write, and read English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento. Dutch is the official language of the island.

Smoking Section

Smoking at our resort is only allowed on private patios/balconies and in designated smoking areas. Some Aruba restaurants, casinos, and bars allow smoking but offer non-smoking sections.

According to the most recent estimates, approximately 116,000 people live on Aruba, which is one of four countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

What's the Time?

Aruba follows Atlantic Standard Time year-round. During the fall and winter, 12 p.m. on the east coast of the United States is 1 p.m. on the island.
